【祇園祭 半世紀の時を超え】武者行列が復活！神事のハイライト「神輿渡御」神幸祭に密着
京都の夏、祇園祭 迫力のある映像をLIVE配信！
7月24日の後祭（あとまつり）では11基の山鉾が巡行します。本来の祇園祭の姿に戻すもので、2014年に半世紀ぶりに後祭が復活し、2022年には190年ぶりに鷹山も復活しました。
巡行コ－スは17日の前祭の反対で、烏丸御池を出発、四条烏丸まで巡行します。
巡行順を確認する「くじ改め」は御池通寺町東入北側で行われます。
巡行の1番目に行くのは橋弁慶山 （はしべんけいやま）、最後は大船鉾 （おおふねほこ）です。
スケジュールは烏丸御池（からすまおいけ・09:30） ⇒ 河原町御池（かわらまちおいけ・10:00）⇒ 四条河原町（しじょうかわらまち・10:40）⇒ 四条烏丸 （しじょうからすま・11:20）※予定
山鉾巡行の最大の見どころは「辻回し」と言われますが、後祭では比較的小さな「山」が多く登場し、巡行コースの曲がり角で何度も回転します。大きな鉾の迫力ある方向転換とは趣の違う、威勢のよさやかわいらしさを楽しむことができます。
疫病退散を願う祇園祭は、八坂神社の祭礼で、この祭礼に合わせて中京・下京区の山鉾町等では諸行事が行われます。
祇園祭は、葵祭・時代祭と合わせて京都三大祭りと呼ばれ、また大阪の天神祭・東京の神田祭と並んで日本三大祭りの1つに数えられています。

On July 24, the after festival (atomatsuri) will feature 11 floats parading. This event aims to return to the original form of Gion Matsuri, which saw the revival of the after festival in 2014 after half a century, and in 2022, the revival of Takayama for the first time in 190 years.
The parade route is the opposite of the first festival on the 17th, starting from Karasuma Oike and proceeding to Shijo Karasuma.The “kuji aratame” which confirms the order of the procession will take place on the north side of Oike-dori, east entrance of Teramachi.The first float to go is Hashibenkeiyama, and the last is Oofunehoko. The schedule is as follows: Karasuma Oike (09:30) ⇒ Kawaramachi Oike (10:00) ⇒ Shijo Kawaramachi (10:40) ⇒ Shijo Karasuma (11:20) *Tentative.
The highlight of the float procession is said to be the “tsujimawashi,” but in the after festival, many smaller “yama” floats appear, making several rotations at the corners along the route. You can enjoy the lively and cute charm, which is different from the impressive directional changes of the larger floats.
The Gion Festival, held to ward off epidemics, is the annual celebration of Yasaka Shrine. Various events are held in the Chukyo and Shimogyo districts in conjunction with the festival.
Together with the Aoi and Jidai Festivals, it is one of Kyoto’s three major festivals, and also ranks among Japan’s top three festivals alongside Osaka’s Tenjin Festival and Tokyo’s Kanda Festival.
